Biography

Madeleine Bonnallie is currently pursuing an M.A. in Literature and Literary Theory and a Graduate Certificate in Film and Media Studies. Her research and teaching interests include ecocriticism, horror literature and film, gothic literature, and ecohorror. Previously, she attended Drake University where she received a B.A. in English and a B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communication.

In addition to her roles as a Graduate Teaching Assistant in the English department and a Graduate Assistant for IDRH, she is also the Managing Editor and Webmaster for KU's graduate-run literary magazine LandLocked. Madeleine was also an IDRH fellow last year with the James Gunn Center for the Study of Science Fiction.
